Greg Myers

Health Insurance Agent Greg Myers owns and operates Texas Medical Plans. The health insurance agent is active in his community both personally and professionally. As an independent health insurance agent, Greg Myers represents many different companies, allowing him to provide individual Texas health care quotes and affordable health insurance for his clients.

Courtney Myers Mecklenburg

Licensed Health and Life Insurance Agent Courtney Myers Mecklenburg is proud to lead Texas Medical Plans. She builds upon the foundation that her family, Greg Myers and Susan Myers created- “do right by the client & make insurance simple.” She specializes in health insurance, Medicare, life insurance, disability insurance, group insurance and long-term care insurance, working with individuals and groups to find the perfect match for their needs and their budget.

Customer education is a high priority for her, and she spends a great deal of her efforts towards this goal. Courtney’s membership with the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals provides her the immediate access to current insurance industry trends & resources to achieve that very thing. She is passionate about advocating for clients and their families when seeking care and using their insurance benefits and she gives her clients the education and knowledge, so they are confident advocating for themselves as well.

She is obviously doing something right because people have been asking for her by name since she joined the Texas Medical Plans team in 2014. Courtney is proud to be voted the Best Insurance Agent in Wimberley, Texas.

Courtney has a BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Business Administration from Texas State University. Courtney is on the Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, is active in Cypress Creek Church, and volunteers her time when she can at Barnabas Connection, a local non-profit her mother, Susan Myers, leads. Courtney has called the beautiful town of Wimberley, Texas her home for over three decades and lives here with her husband, two daughters, their two dogs, rabbit, and pony.

Valerie Trohoske

Licensed Insurance Agent, Valerie Trohoske, joined the Texas Medical Plans team in 2017. As a Texas Licensed Insurance Advisor she specializes in multiple insurance lines such as: individual health insurance, life insurance, short-term insurance, group insurance, and long-term care insurance.

Valerie conquers everything with 110% efficiency and accuracy. Her goal is ensuring our clients have continuous exceptional service. When Valerie says she is going to do something, you better believe she goes above and beyond to get it done. When she tells you “we will get you the best insurance benefits, at the most affordable insurance price, based on your insurance needs”, she does it flawlessly! She always makes the time to assist you and help with your questions. Valerie prides herself on being available to our clients and assisting them in the upmost efficient manner.

Valerie has a background in medical billing and coding and worked at a pediatric surgery center in Austin before answering her calling of helping people find insurance to fit their needs. Valerie’s primary focus is individual health insurance. She also specializes in matching clients with the best short-term insurance policies for their needs. Originally from Pennsylvania, Valerie has been in the Wimberley area for over a decade and has built a strong bond and trust within the community.

Susan Myers

Texas Medical Plans owner Susan Myers owns and operates Texas Medical Plans with her husband Greg Myers. Susan is Texas Medical Plans public relations specialist. Susan is constantly out in our community volunteering her time and meeting the needs of our fellow Texans. If you live in Wimberley or the surrounding area, chances are you know Susan and all the work she does to support this wonderful city of Wimberley and the great state of Texas.

She has been an active member of the Wimberley community for over 35 years. She is most recognized for spearheading flood relief efforts after the devastating Memorial Day flood of 2015. If there is someone in need, Susan is the first person to jump in and help. Susan Myers was voted “Volunteer of the Year” for her community commitment with Barnabas Connection. Susan graduated with a BS in elementary education, (Reading Specialist) from the University of Texas. She retired after 32 years of teaching to take an active role leading the Texas Medical Plans team. Susan was on the PFO Board at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School (SSES), and also helped organize and run the SSES Silent Auction for sixteen years. She helped run the flood center at Cypress Creek Church, and is still part of Flood/Disaster Committee there. Susan also volunteers at the Barnabas Back to School Fiesta, and the Barnabas Christmas Store.

Susan is the heart of Texas Medical Plans! Susan loves spending time with her three daughters: Courtney Myers Mecklenburg, Lauren Myers, Whitney Tabash her two granddaughters: Brooke and Reagan Mecklenburg, and her grandson: Griffen Tabash.
